The Teachers
Besides H.H. Karmapa
the Karma-Kagyu-School
has actually three lineage-holders:
Tai Situ Rinpoche,
who has his residence
in Sherab Ling Monastery in North-India, Gyaltsab Rinpoche who
lives in Rumtek Monastery
in Sikkim and
Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche
who is still quite young and is growing up in Pullahari Monastery
close to Kathmandu in Nepal.
Further important teachers who were still educated in Tibet are:
Thrangu Rinpoche,
Tenga Rinpoche,
Khenpo Tsultrim Gyatso Rinpoche,
Akong Rinpoche, Ato Rinpoche,
Ringu Tulku Rinpoche,
Lama Namse Rinpoche,
Bokar Rinpoche and Khenpo Donyo.
The younger well known male and female teachers are:
Ponlop Rinpoche,
Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche,
Mingyur Rinpoche, Kalu Rinpoche, Pora Tulku Rinpoche,
Khandro Rinpoche,
Dilyak Drupön Rinpoche, Drupon Khenpo Lodro Namgyal.
Currently four Tibetan lamas of our lineage live in German dharma
centers: Lama Kunga Dorje, Lama Kelzang Wangdi, Lama Sonam Rabgje und Lama Drime Dawa.
